Advertise on Google for Free!

While many advertising campaigns can end up costing you a large amount of money, you can use the Google maps feature in order to gain some free global advertising.

When a user searches for business types within a specific geographical location, they are given a list of businesses within that local area which are to do with the original search query. This is a great way for small businesses to get some form of online exposure and what's better is that it's completely free!

How to place your business on Google Local.
  • Open up your Internet browser and enter into the address bar.
  • Select "Put your business on Google Maps" on the left hand side of the page.
  • Follow the basic setup steps required by Google. This will involve creating a Google account and then entering details about your business such as the name, address and a contact telephone number.
Once your business has been placed on Google Local, customers will now be able to search for your business as well as leave reviews about your store for other users to read.

With 97% of all consumers searching for a local business online, it is a great way to get some much needed publicity completely for free!
